What's the heck is the Terrified Medieval Lineage . . . ?!?

The Terrified Medieval Dragon.

Well, this is just my own little Lineage Project.  It's nothing particularly special, I started this project as a quirk, for my own amusement.  I figured it was high time however, to explain it, since it is in public view, and I'm starting to get a herd of these dragons built up.

Basically it came about from my participation in the The Petrified Project (which is now defunct.)  I had recieved a dragon as part of that lineage from Gabesgirl, and when the dragon grew up, I went looking for a mate for her.  I managed to snag a Cave Born spring Seasonal egg, and when it grew wings, it gendered male, yay!  He had the best identification code, InnJ, so I named him Terrified Innkeeper Jay.  The Terrified as opposite of Petrified, Innkeeper for Inn part of his code and Jay for J part.

After he grew up, I was all set to go with my selected pair of dragons.  Both of them had cute names with loads of possibilities to name their offspring after, I was ready to breed!  Except for one tiny little, itty-bitty glitch - my new CB dragon and my Petrified dragon didn't like each other!  When I tried to breed them, I got the dreaded "The dragons refuse to even go near each other." message.  Well that was disappointing!  This means they will never ever breed, and I would have to find different mates for them now.  Pisser!

SO there I was - I had a pure CB male, with no mate, and I had no idea what to do with him.  I liked his name a too much to turn him loose, so I decided to try and find a mate for him that wasn't quite so choosey.  Luckily I had acquired a female CB summer Seasonal dragon by then, whom I had named Hrunnd (Hrund was one of the Valkyrie, yes I know, my dragon's name is a slightly misspelled, but Hrund was already taken.)  She was lonely and looking for love, so I gave them a shot.

Terrified Innkeeper Jay and Hrunnd liked each other right away and they had a lovely daughter.  Her code wasn't quite so suggestive to me as he father's, 4BN3, but it kind of reminded me of a baker and Beatrice for some reason.  An innkeeper?  A baker?  How very medieval!  So you see how my lineage idea started to take shape.  Terrified (opposite of Petrified) a medieval occupation and a name based on part of the dragon's code.  It was pure serendipity!  And that is how my Terrified Medieval Lineage has come about!

Please note that eggs or hatchlings that are part of this lineage project must be named Terrified, then a medieval occupation and a first name begining with any of the letters of their code when they grow up!  If you're not able to do that, please see page 1 and select one of the other pairs of dragons, thanks!

* Some of you might recognize some the names I've used for my dragons.  They are for the most part named after Norse gods and goddesses and of course the Valkyrie.  There are a few ''common'' names thrown in as well, because I'm running out of deities to name them after!  And yes, I realize that I've misspelled many of them.  That was intentional.  No two dragons can share the same name, therefore I had to get creative with some of the more popular Norse deities.

Any dragons I couldn't name after Norse gods, I've at least tried to stick to Old Norse (with the exception of a few lineage projects I'm involved with.)  When I've done this you'll notice that a rough translation pops up when you move your mouse pointer over the name . . .
